Company Profile
Fujian Foody New Materials Co., Ltd. was founded in April 2017 as the first specialized manufacturer of ES (PE/PET) bicomponent fiber in the Quanzhou region. We currently operate two primary production bases with a total annual capacity of 100,000 tons.
In May 2021, we established our wholly-owned subsidiary, Foody (Shishi) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., launching a comprehensive, 5G-powered digital transformation. This initiative integrates world-class, fully automated production lines within a smart ecosystem of automated warehousing, logistics, AGVs, robotic arms, and management software (WMS, WCS, MES). The result is a centralized data platform that monitors the entire value chain, driving unprecedented levels of operational excellence and product quality. It is the cornerstone of our mission to create the ES fiber industry’s premier 5G fully-connected smart manufacturing park.
Building on this robust smart factory foundation, Foody is accelerating its production expansion. In 2024, we announced a strategic vision to reach an annual output of 300,000 tons by 2034. Our goal is to evolve from a domestic production leader into a global pioneer in ES fiber technology and a leading force in the international market.
Development History
1991
● Our parent company, Xinglilai, was founded, specializing in polyester colored filament, yarn twisting, and warping. It grew to become a leader in the woven label yarn market.
2017
● Foody Fiber was established in April with investment from Xinglilai, marking our entry into the sanitary materials sector. We became the first producer of ES bicomponent staple fiber in the Quanzhou region.
2018
● Mar: Commercial production began, focusing on 1.5D/2D hydrophobic/hydrophilic fiber for the mid-to-high-end air-through nonwoven market.
● Sep: Achieved ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management system certifications.
2020
● Jul: Recognized as a “Provincial Science and Technology Small Giant Leading Enterprise” by Fujian authorities..
2021
● Apr: Founded the wholly-owned subsidiary Foody (Shishi) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., launching an 80,000-ton annual capacity project.
● Nov: Designated as a “Specialized, Sophisticated, Differentiated, and Innovative” SME in Fujian.
● Product Milestone: Successfully launched and mass-produced 1.0D and 0.8D micro-denier fibers, ranking among the top two in the industry.
2022
● Mar: Certified as a “National High-tech Enterprise”.
